The summer 2022 meeting of the UK Health Economists’ Study Group (HESG) took place from 22nd to 24th June and was hosted by the University of Sheffield. This was the 100th meeting of HESG and also my first time attending.
I was tasked by my centre’s Co-Director, Professor Rhiannon Tudor Edwards, with reporting what transpired at the conference. As a result, I decided to vlog the conference proceedings to provide a more immersive account of the events. As an early career researcher (ECR), it was my first time attending any Health Economics related conference. I did not know what to expect, and this birthed my second objective of the vlog. I wanted to leave a resource for future ECRs and other researchers in the field of health economics, providing insight into how conferences can be enriching.
You can watch the video below. Come back tomorrow for my vlog from EuHEA.
